The Chain Gang
Ok, so today I had to drive out to my doctor's office and to get there I have to drive through the prison area. I only know I'm in the prison area because there are signs that say "Prison Area: Do Not Pick Up Hitchhikers." That sign alone is a little freaky to me, but today I actually saw a chain gang. I didn't know they still do that with prisoners. There was a line of 10 of so prisoners in bright white outfits swinging tools in unison (no joke-in unison). Three guards wearing cowboy hats on horses watched them. I don't know if they were actually chained together, but I thought as I passed that they just needed the black stripes to fit into my movie image of a chain gang.

Too bad you didn't have a camera!!! Oh and I went to Stater Brothers last night with my sister and I bought some Extra Cinnamon Gum! and I thought of you!
All you needed was Emilio Estevez and Lawrence Fishburne chanting a cadence. Or George Clooney. I had no idea they still did that either. What a sight.

I am glad that you started writing on your blog again. Molly and Adam are getting so big.
