The 4th of July isn't what it used to be. We used to be able to do all kinds of fireworks growing up and we had a blast. Sure, there were injuries, but what's the 4th without a few burns? This year we were excited to buy a package of 'fireworks' from Sam's Club. They ended up just being the sort that you pull a string and confetti flies out and the little pops that the kids like to throw. Though, it wasn't a real firework show, the kids loved being able to pull all those strings. And the confetti was fun to play with afterwards as you can see.

This looks like so much fun! I love the look on Molli's face as she is about to pull her "popper". Holy cow, did it take you forever to clean up your yard??
