First, Porter has been born! Everything went great. Porter was 6.8lbs and 17 1/2 inches long. (When we went to the doctor yesterday they measured him at 19 1/4 inches long. So, it is recorded incorrectly, but now we know what he really is.) He is so cute and has blond wavy hair. He likes to be held and cuddled. He doesn't like being cold, but how in the world can anyone be cold in July in Texas? Oh well, he is a newborn. Molli, Adam, and Courtney all love him and have accepted him into the family. All Courtney wants to do is hold him and gets mad if she doesn't get to.
Porter was born the day before my birthday. It was nice to come home on my birthday to my wonderful family. My parents and my children made this cake for me. It was delicious, thanks!!

Congratulations on the new addition to the family! How sweet that he was born the day before your birthday (he probably just didn't want to have to share his special day)!
