Courtney, Courtney

First of all, I want you to know that Courtney is very fast. She can get into to trouble in a blink of an eye. I turn my back for a second and she's into something or done something. The first example is above. She was painting with the older kids and she painted her face, but when I asked her to show me what she did she showed me her beautiful work of art (the paper, not the face). I had to move her arms down to get the face in the picture.

Second, she moved a chair over to the counter and climbed onto the counter and into Porter's Bumbo. She then proceeded to peel and orange, eat the orange and then stash the peels into my open purse. Who knows what would've come next if I hadn't found her like this.
Third is her obsession with my camera. I have a lot of pictures that look like this one. She likes to look at the front of the camera when she takes her pictures. She does have beautiful blue eyes, but I'm starting to wonder if the flash will ruin her eyes.
And last, but not least, she loves, loves, loves her older sister and brother. Molli put her head down because I told her to put the paint and away and she was disappointed so Courtney put her head down, too. She is learning so many things! We are so glad to have her, even with all her trouble making. So, Happy Birthday Courtney!!

It is a good thing that they are so stinkin' cute...or they probably wouldn't make it to 3. :)

Courtney sounds a lot like Lexie. I think they would get along nicely!

Ok so I totally agree with Angie, but also I'm so glad you posted this. I look at everyone else's kids - especially yours - and think 'why does everyone else have perfect kids and I have kids that make me want to poke them in the eye on a regular basis?' It makes me feel better that sweet little Courtney is a little mischevious. It makes me laugh all the little things she managed to do :)
