We love strawberry season! We have been to the strawberry farm three times now. I think the bucket price has now paid for itself. The first time we went there was nothing really there. Then, we went the next week and brought home 9 lbs of strawberries. With that we (and I really mean me) made four batches of freezer jam, froze a gallon sized ziploc full of whole strawberries and then had tons to eat still. The kids had fun. The next time we went we just went for fun. Adam likes their little fried pies and I'll admit I like them too. So, if for no other reason we will go just for the pies.
