In The Name of Science

On Friday afternoons I teach piano and violin lessons. I usually try to set up my children with whatever it takes to keep them occupied during this one hour. Of course, I can hear them and that is how I keep track of them. Well, this last Friday Mark took Adam to the store and I had Courtney with me while Molli just played either upstairs or in the other room. I could hear her and wasn't worried about what she was doing. However, when Mark came home during my lessons he found Molli with two packages of Jell-o, the honey, the syrup and two cups of a purple colored liquid. He asked her what she was doing and was preparing to get mad at her when she said, "I'm doing science." Who could possibly get mad at that response? So, instead of going to time-out Molli had her picture taken with her first ever science experiment. Thankfully, the jell-o didn't stain my floor like I thought it would.

Tell her next time she has to wear an apron and goggles like a real scientist. That'd make another awesome picture. She also needs to see "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs." All in the Name of Science. What a crack up that girl is!

That is so cute! It's hard to get mad at them sometimes.
