Courtney's 1st Birthday

I am finally posting about Courtney's 1st birthday, which was last month. Mark's Dad was here for a day and so we were able to celebrate with him. It was nice to have family here for an event like a birthday! Courtney dug into her cake like all one-year-olds do and then she enjoyed making a mess with her own piece. It was all over the floor by the time she was done playing with it. She didn't really eat it, but none of my kids have on their 1st birthday so its ok.

Courtney has been able to take a step of two for a few weeks, but in the last couple of day she has really taken to the idea. She is getting braver and will walk 5-6 steps before falling down. We're so excited!!
