So, I have told many about this tradition and here it is! I would normally put balloons and streamers all the way down the tree, but Courtney just pulls things off and puts them in her mouth. Some day I will be able to put things on the bottom half of the tree again. My Mom always decorated a New Year's Tree with us growing up and I have continued the tradition because it is so fun! The kids love it and it is one thing we do to bring in the New Year.

I LOVE this tradition! I miss it every New Year. I was just thinking about how fun it always was to pull a little noisemaker off of your tree at New Years. In fact, some years I have been on top of things enough to remember to do it myself, but I have a feeling that this year won't be one of those. Awww....this makes me miss you and your family!!!
I did the new years tree also this year and mine looks exactly like yours only my curly streamers have been stretched and pulled down straight. Tyson got a hold of the streamers before I could stop him. It is a fun tradition.
